Event: Sponsored Swim
Location: Orford Jubilee Hub
Details: Calling all swimmers! Would you like to take the plunge and do something enjoyable - and at the same time raise some money for us? If this sounds appealing, why not make a splash for cash at our sponsored swim event at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub where participants will be challenged to swim a total of 64 lengths (one mile) of the swimming pool! However, for those individuals who feel that is a length too far you can still take part and set your own individual challenge. Event: A Walk (Run) in the Park
Location: Centre for Indpendent Living, Beaufort Street
Details: This brilliant event gives you the opportunity to raise funds through sponsorship for a charity of YOUR choice! This could be a local school, youth group or a charity you avidly support. If you prefer, you are welcome to pay the registration fee and simply take part for the enjoyment value and exercise. The walk will start and end at our Centre for Independent Living on Beaufort Street. Enjoy a casual stroll or a brisk walk round Sankey Valley Park - covering a total distance of 3 miles. Please note that walkers can choose their own distance and pace. A variety of stalls will be serving refreshments on the day - as well as activities and games for all ages. Registration is just 5 per person with all participants receiving a medal and certificate for their efforts. All funds raised on the day (apart from any sponsorship raised for individual groups) will go towards supporting the work of Warrington Disability Partnership (WDP). Details: Don't miss the launch day to the biggest annual event on our calendar - Disability Awareness Day 2015 (DAD)! With a fantastic line up of live acts performing throughout the day be sure to come along and join us for the start of a week long of events.

Event: Frogtastic
Location: Walton Gardens
Details: This fun-filled event is aimed at people who have learning disabilities, their families and friends. The night will consist of tribute bands and lots of great music. Event: Party in the Park
Location: Walton Gardens
Details: 'Party in the Park' is a partnership of local children and young people's support groups presenting a fun-filled evening for disabled children, disabled young people, their families and their friends. Activities include arts, dance and sports plus chillout and fun areas. The night is free of charge and will start at 5.30pm to 6.30pm for children aged five to 11 and at 7pm to 8:30pm for 11-25s. It is advised that in order to avoid disappointment and guarantee access to the event that people book their attendance in advance. Event: DAD BBQ & Quiz

Details: Our famous BBQ and Quiz will take place in the Arts Marquee at Walton Gardens. Teams of up to 8 people, hundreds of 's worth of prizes, fun quiz, great food and licensed bar. Event: 25th Disability Awareness Day

Event: Scuba Challenge
Location: Woolston Leisure Centre
Details: Would you like to take the plunge and do something enjoyable and at the same time raise some money for Warrington Disability Partnership (WDP)? If so, why not make a splash for cash in an attempt to raise funds to support Disability Awareness Day (DAD). We organise a number of events including our Going The Extra Mile Scuba Challenge! The Challenge will include a 64 length (One mile) pool dive for qualified divers (PADI or BSAC) and supervised try dives for beginners. From previous experience qualified divers usually complete the 64 lengths in just over one hour. The try dives usually last approximately one hour. It will be held on Saturday 5th September at Woolston Leisure Centre, Warrington. Registration is open from 3pm till 4.30pm. We ask that any divers who are looking to pursue the 64 lengths option to please generate a minimum sponsorship of 30 and a minimum of 30 for the try dives in support of our services. Event: Santa's Grotto Launch
Location: Town Centre and Warrington Market
Details: Santa Claus is coming to town! From 11am Old Saint Nick himself will ride his reindeer through Warrington town centre to the Market - greeting crowds along the way - and at 11:30am his Grotto will be officially opened!
