Easter Raffle Prize Draw and Tombola

Warrington Disability Partnership was happy to welcome a helping hand from Mr Sponge Bob Square Pants himself last Saturday 15th April for our Easter Raffle Prize Draw and Tombola, helping to raise nearly £1,400 for the wheelchair accessible Wizard narrow boat re-fit appeal. WDP would also like to offer their thanks to both Warrington Market Management and its traders for their kind donations towards the Easter Tombola and Raffle.

WDP are hopeful that the Wizard will be re-fitted next month and back in the water before June but we still need help to raise funds. The next WDP Quiz at St Oswalds Social Club, Padgate Lane, will be on Friday 12th May 7:30pm £2 per person on the door with proceeds of the night going to the Wizard appeal.

WDP are also looking for additional Volunteers to help crew the Wizard over the summer season and we are looking to offer additional day trips along the scenic Bridgewater canal over the weekends but only if we can provide enough cover. Please call Jon Menzies on 01925 240064 for further details.
