Judy Woolfenden's Trans-Pennine Challenge May 2006
Intrepid Kenilworth lady, Judy Woolfenden, undertakes personal challenges every year and 2006 is no exception.
Judy suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy-a progressive muscle wasting disorder, as well as several other serious medical conditions her motto is: 'I HAVE A ZEST FOR LIFE AND ADVENTURE' and in May 2006 Judy will be pushed in her wheelchair for a distance of approx. 350 miles along The Trans-Pennine Trail between Hornsea and Southport.
On May 19th Judy passed Warrington Disability Partnership's Centre for Independent Living and Equipment Showrooms for a well deserved break and cup of tea.
Tommy Hammond, WDP Equipment Loans Supervisor, says that "It's great to offer our support to both Judy and her helpers on this challenge and we wish them all the best of luck in finishing at Stockport next month."
If you wish WDP to help support your own fundraising challenge please contact our Fundraiser Jon Menzies on 01925 240064.
