WDP proud to join the inaugural Cheshire Fire Service’s ‘Community Showcase’

Warrington Disability Partnership and their mascot OLLIE the Owl attended the inaugural Cheshire Fire Service’s ‘Community Showcase’ at their headquarters in Winwick Road Fire Station on Sunday 17th September. Event organiser and Community Safety Advocate for the Service Ann McElroy said of the Showcase: “The aims of our event were to show to local people that Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service have many partners, organisations and groups in and around the Warrington area that can offer further help and support; many which perhaps they were not initially aware of.

This will hopefully aid in stronger and safer communities and individual lifestyles.” The day was popular not only with the locals but also the hundreds of travelling St Helen’s fans who were making their way up Winwick Road for the afternoon match with Wolves at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
