WDP Volunteer receives 'bus' honour

Long standing WDP volunteer Colin G. Whitfield received the surprise of his life on July 12th when a new low-level accessible Warrington Transport Bus was unveiled in his name at the VIP reception that formally opened Warrington's new award winning Bus Interchange. Colin had no idea that a bus had been named in his honour but said after the event:

"After the initail shock went I would also like to thank Dave Thompson, Patrick McGuirk, Dave Connor and Cynthia Cowan who all worked hard on ensuring that the new Bus Interchange exceeded all expectations for its facilities for disabled people."
