Employment teams completes targets early

The Employment Team were delighted to find that they had met their targets for one of their contracts 9 months before they were due.

The contract is to assist people with a health problem or disability, who are not in receipt of Incapacity Benefit back into work. The team met various targets in assisting people into learning, training, volunteering and, of course, employment.

The Team also met their targets in supplying Advice and Guidance to people with health problems, disabilities and lone parents. As these targets where met again prior to the end of the contract the contracting body "nextstep" gave additional targets to the team, these were again met by the time the contract finished at the end of July. The nextstep contract has been extended due to the good performance.
