25th anniversary dinner hailed a huge success

Over 200 guests attended WDP's 25th Anniversary dinner on Friday 14th October at the prestigious Park Royal Hotel in Warrington

Guests included the Mayor and Mayoress of Warrington and other dignitories plus leading local businesses. Dave Thompson MBE DL, Chief Executive of WDP said "I am very pleased that through the support of Fairview Windows and Sharples Group we were able to invite 20 of our volunteers". John Gartside, Chairman said " The evening had a feeling of celebration and professionalism thanks to the hard work of Caroline, Janis and the team".

Entertainment was provided by DAD favourites Ella Together and Carly Ryan and the event was hosted by WDP Patron Pete Pinnington.

Over £9000 was raised on the night thanks to sponsorship from CPUK, live and silent auctions, the raffle and games.

Steve Burke the Managing Director of CPUK said "My company was honoured to have supported WDP's 25th Anniversary Party and we look forward to working closely with WDP on the Bridge Street Quarter Development in Warrington Town Centre"
