Team receives National Award

The team at Warrington Disability Partnership (WDP) were honoured to become the joint winners of the Kevin Hytt Award for Best Independent Living Initiative at the recent Independent Living Awards, organised by Breakthrough UK.

The annual awards, held at Manchester Town Hall, aim to recognise and celebrate organisations which have ‘gone the extra mile’ in promoting and supporting independent living throughout the UK. DWP Minister for Disabled People, Jonathan Shaw MP was the ceremony’s Key Note Speaker.
The team at WDP are extremely proud to have received this award in recognition of their hard work they do to provide a wide range of services, which aim to support and promote independence throughout life and work for local disabled people.
