Warrington Housing Association raises money for Wizard Narrow Boat

Warrington Disability Partnership were recently presented with a cheque from the Warrington Housing Association for £336.91 towards the running of the Wizard Narrow Boat, following a year of fundraising activities.

Barbara Nichols presented the cheque at Thorn Marine on behalf of the team, following the decision 12 months ago to choose WDP as their chosen Charity of the Year.

The money will be put towards the purchase of new equipment for the Wizard Narrow Boat. Wizard day trips are proving to be a big hit within the community this year, with a full schedule of bookings for the season.

With the donation received from Warrington Housing Association, day trippers will be able to enjoy more comfort and amenities whilst travelling.
