Summer Fun Day

Ollie Owl and WDP team members recently attended a Summer Fun Day at Great Sankey High School and Leisure Centre, organised by the Great Sankey Clubs Forum.

The event was well attended with a steady stream of families coming through the doors and trying out a whole range of activities

All the come and try activities were hosted by the local sports clubs who currently use the Leisure Centre or have links with the school these included:

Sankey Springers Trampoline Club, Warrington Swim Club, Zenshin Karate and Fitness Club, The School of Soccer, Penketh Tennis Club, Lymm Hockey Club, Burtonwood Bulldogs Rugby Leauge Club, Eagle Rugby Union Club, Alder Root Golf Club and Warrington Integrated Sports Club.

A number of activities took place in the school, including dance and drama. The Greenhalls Brass Band provided the musical entertainment assisted by our own Ollie Owl

Ollie and Wolfie made appearances throughout the afternoon and they both had young people following them around the site.
