Supporting independence throughout life and work

Sensory & Telecare Information Day

A WIDE range of equipment to help people with sight or hearing difficulties will be available this month. An informal drop in event is being held on Tuesday 17th April 2012, 10am - 4pm at the Centre for Independent Living, Beaufort Street, Warrington.

The council and Warrington Disability Partnership have joined forces to help raise awareness of a full range of equipment available to help people with sight, or hearing difficulties remain as independent as possible both within their homes and while 'out and about' in their local community.
A full range of equipment will also be on display such as fall detectors, flood detectors, smoke detectors and epilepsy sensors.
Professionals will be on hand to give advice as well as a range of companies holding stalls to display their products.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get to know about some easy to understand technology that can make a huge difference to people lives.
For more information for those who cannot attend but would like help or advice, please contact Warrington Disability Partnership on 01925 240064 or the Sensory and Telecare Team on 01925 443979
