Disability Photographers Society

The society aims to encourage disabled people to take an active interest in photography as a therapeutic and creative pursuit.

They act as a source of information on photographic matters for disabled people; collect, check, and if necessary, repair donated and surplus equipment; collecting and modifying equipment as necessary; producing camera supports etc for people with specific handicaps; researching into methods of adapting equipment to meet specific requirements; runs an advice service; and supplies equipment to members of the society, free of charge. Warrington Disability Partnership run a flourishing Camera Club based in our Discover IT suite, with photo shoots, software and editing lessons and of course full disabled access to everything.
