Mobilise for DLA
You did it! Government maintains mobility allowance for people in residential care

Mental health transitions for young people
Adolescence is a period of intense change for young people and a time when mental health problems may emerge or become more severe. Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) has identified a number of ways in which mental health transitions can improve.

No Secrets self-injury support group come to WDP
This new self-injury support group will meet every Tuesday 1-3pm at the Centre for Independent Living and will be open to anybody over the age of 16 years.

Disability Awareness Training Sessions
The following dates are booked for Disability Awareness Training. Each sessions lasts approximately three hours and are held at our Centre for Independent Living:

Christmas Stall Open for Business.
Warrington Disability Partnership's charity Christmas stall was officially opened with a surprise visit from the Mayor. Then Father Christmas came to Warrington with his famous reindeers and he is now in his Grotto next to the WDP stall

Do the Motability changes apply to you?
Changes will apply to all new Mobility agreements from 1st January 2012. In line with the choice made by 95% of customers who choose a car with an advanced payment of Ł2000 or less the price list has been reviewed.

AGM and Appreciation of Effort Awards
Our Annual General Meeting was held at Bewsey Old School and was attended by over 100 people including Councillor Steve Wright Deputy Mayor of Warrington and John Gartside OBE DL who was introduced as the latest WDP Patron.
