Lifetime Award for ALL TOGETHER NOW!

The editor of All Together Now, Tom Dowling, received a Lifetime Achievement award for journalism at the O2 North West Media Awards.

Award judges felt that the title of Tom’s regular column in the Liverpool Echo sums up the reason why he won the award. “I Can Do It is as much about Tom’s persistence and focus as anything else. When the old I Can Do That! magazine closed, he took up the challenge to find a new way to keep it going”. That was six years ago and All Together Now is a highly valued publication, read by more than 240,000 people with a disability and those affected by it.
