Many thanks for the loan of the disabled caravan last week. My disabled parents had a wonderful time and it was great to see them being able to do things for themselves and be more independent because of the facilities that were in place at the caravan.

The layout of the caravan was excellent. There was plenty of space, the sliding doors to the bedroom and the bathroom meant that was always plenty of space, it enabled wheelchair users to be able to open the doors and to enter the rooms. The kitchen was well designed. There was plenty of storage, the cooker was easy to use, and it was easy to do the washing up.

End bedroom was very spacious. The aids to help the disabled people get in and out of bed were excellent. Bathroom was again very spacious. Walk in shower was used extensively and was really beneficial.

Dining / living area again there was plenty of room both for wheel chair users and able body people i.e. carers. The pull out bed in the living room is ideal for carers.
