Shopmobility What is Shopmobility?Shopmobility Warrington offers people with temporary or permanent mobility problems or disabilities the chance to experience greater freedom and independence. We provide manual and electric wheelchairs and battery-powered scooters to break down the barriers to independence to enable you to make the most of our town centre facilities. By enabling greater accessibility to the town, we are opening up a world of opportunities. Who uses Shopmobility?The scheme is available to anyone with mobility difficulties, whether temporary or permanent. You can always call us for an informal chat to see if we can help. Where is Shopmobility?Equipment can be collected from Shopmobility at the Legh St Car Park, the Disability Information Stall in Warrington Market and the Bus Interchange We also liaise with Dial-A-Ride, whose drop off point is at the rear of Shopmobility. Parking Spaces availableLegh Street Car Park - 55 BB & 7 ShopmoMidland Way Car Park - 42 in total (Level 1 = 12, Level 2 = 24 and Level 3 = 6) Benefits to Members.Members may book equipment up to one week in advance. Day visitors may only book on the day of use. How to join.To join the scheme all you need to do is call in at the Shopmobility office in Legh St Car Park, complete a short registration form (not for day visitors), sign a medical declaration and provide identification, joining fee and photographs as detailed below. All new members are fully trained on the equipment before taking it out for the first time. Please note membership increase from 1st April
