Disability Inclusion Sports Club (DISC)
Disability Inclusion Sports Club (DISC) is a sports club for young people with disabilities aged 7-19 years old. The club meet at William Beaumont High School on Long Lane every Wednesday evening and activities include Football, Table top games, Cricket, Hockey amongst many other activities. The group recently took part in a Judo session which was enjoyed by all the young people.
A team from DISC entered into the recent Cheshire Youth Games multi skill event, a team of 8 young people represented Warrington in the event which involved the learning of 4 sporting skills. The team from DISC won the event and are now looking forward to taking part in future events.
