Leisure, Recreation & Sport
Dave Connor is our Leisure, Recreation Sports Development Officer who is looking to increase the number of opportunities for participation in sport and leisure. Dave is available to give information on youth clubs, sports clubs, coaches and funding, and will be happy to visit your club to give any advice.
Daveis also the main contact for Planet Blue a drop in session for young people aged 11-24, helps organise with the environment agency fishing taster sessions and for the Disability Inclusion Sports Club.
Leisure, Recreation & Sport is an important part of life; it's an excellent way of relieving stress, feeling better and most importantly having fun! Sporting Chances
Warrington Disability Partnership, the University of Chester and Warrington Community Day Services have recently teamed up to develop Sporting Chances, a sports club for adults aged 16 and over with disabilities. Sporting Chances offers its members opportunities to improve their health and fitness, socialise and learn new sporting skills. The group meet at Chester University Warrington Campus every Tuesday between 1:30pm and 2:30pm.
