Awareness Training

Warrington Disability Partnership offers a range of training programmes designed to promote the equality and independence of disabled people.

These range from simple workshops explaining the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act, in order for employers and service providers to improve their understanding and compliance to more complex Disability Equality Training looking in more depth at the range of issues affecting the lives of disabled people today.

These courses are designed by disabled people, (all equality training is delivered by disabled people,) and are tailored to meet the needs of the individual organisation.

We also run a regular programme of seminars for employers exploring DDA requirements and also the range of support available to assist in making reasonable adjustments in order to recruit and retain disabled employees.

For details of upcoming seminars, please contact our employment team on 01925 240064.
