Are you a keen swimmer? Would you like to take the plunge by joining supporters of WDP to raise funds in this year’s sponsored swim?

This year’s sponsored swim event will take place at Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub where participants will be challenged to swim either a target of their choice (e.g. 10, 20, 30 lengths) or a total of 64 lengths (one mile) of the swimming pool.

Join a special swimmer, Ellie Thompson, to complete the final mile of her virtual channel swim. Ellie is aiming to swim 22 miles (the equivalent of the English Channel) in her local swimming pool between January and March 2020 to raise £500 for Warrington Disability Partnership, which was set up by her grandad, Dave Thompson.
