WDP 30th Anniversary Around the World Challenge

WDP 30th Anniversary Around The World Challenge

Together we have travelled 4,372 miles

The Earth has a circumference of 24,901 miles. None of us could cover that distance individually, but with your help we can, between us, collectively cover that many miles in a variety of challenges and sponsored events.

Every mile counts in our 2021 challenge

This year, 2021, is WDP's 30th anniversary year, and our challenge this year is teamwork. We want to get everyone working together to achieve the team goal, to cover the equivalent of one lap around the world.

Everyone can join in

Everyone can join in, anyway they can, in whatever way they choose, and have a lot of fun along the way too. We already have supporters who have volunteered to run half marathons, ride thirty miles on a bike, take a series of sponsored dog walks, and much more. We also hope participants will take photos and videos for us, so that we can compile a scrapbook of the year, and spread the message world wide.

How you can take part?

It couldn’t be easier to join our challenge. There are two ways you can participate. You can either make a personal donation of £10 or more and carry out a personal challenge. Or, you can sign up as a fundraiser, if you think you can raise £30 or more through sponsorship.
