Volunteers Week Big Celebration

Volunteers' Week is an annual celebration of the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK – and it's taking place from the 1st to the 12th June 2016.

WDP Volunteer Coordinator Veronica organized a Big Thank you get together where all WDP volunteers were invited and presented with a thank you card personally signed by Dave Thompson MBE DL CEO and Veronica.
Trustees Cynthia Salluyts ,Gary Skentlbury along with Dave, Veronica joined a group of WDP volunteers who all enjoyed a selection of home made cakes and refreshments in the Marjorie Griffiths Learning Centre .

During this week WDP are holding a Cream Tea Event on 9th March 11-3pm, whereby ASDA Community Life Champions are serving Cream Teas for just £2 each person with all proceeds being divided between WDP and Breast Cancer Care. Red white and blue attire is optional for all those who are coming along
