Guess the name of the octopus winner announced!

Kipper the Octopus has found a new home with Sue Wharton who says the giant stuffed toy will delight her grandchildren and dog when she takes him home.

Warrington Disability Partnership has been running a guess the name of the octopus since July after the stuffed toy was gifted to the charity by Appleton resident Pamela Sercks whose family won it at a charity event. We identified 150 potential names with one being chosen at random and kept in a sealed envelope until the draw on Monday 16th September.

In total, the event raised more than £112 for the charity to support disabled people. Thanks to everyone who bought a ticket.
