Mobility and Independent Living Services in Liverpool
We work in partnership with Liverpool City Council and Merseycare NHS Foundation Trust to run the Liverpool Disabled Living Centre that is located within the LifeHouse in Brunswick Dock, Liverpool. We have over 9000 mobility and independent living products on display for you to try. With a further 15000 products in our portfolio from a wide variety of leading suppliers.
Trusted Assessor service
We have a trained and certified ‘trusted assessor’ who can ensure your individual needs are properly identified, giving you peace of mind that you are receiving correct information about the products. Wide range of products
Products available include: scooters, wheelchairs (manual and powered), stair-lifts, rise and recliner, and high back chairs, adjustable beds, bath seats, ramps, three/four wheeled walkers, batteries, tyres and a huge range of daily living products.
Local partnerships
Through the Centre we work closely with a number of local organisations including Liverpool City Council Careline, the Wheelchair Assessment Service, local hospitals, Local Solutions Shopmobility Services, P&O Ferries, Royal British Legion, MS Society, Mobility Trust, Brain Injury Rehab Trust, SSAFA, Parkinson’s, Merseyside HM Prisons and Brothers of Charity.
Wheelchair hire
We offer a wheelchair and equipment hire service from the Centre. Products include attendant and self-propel wheelchairs and high-backed chairs.
Visiting the Centre
Our extensive showroom and sales area is open between 9.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday. The Centre is located in Lifehouse, Summers Road Liverpool L3 4BL. Facilities include a large carpark with ten blue badge spaces and three wheelchair accessible toilets.
