About Samantha Calderbank:
Sam began working in this team in October 2005. Her current job role involves being an advisor and administrator, supporting the team and also our service users who receive Direct Payments from Warrington Borough Council. She visits service users either at home (usually with a social worker) or at our office to explain and discuss the role and responsibilities of being an employer and the general day-to-day running of their Direct Payments. She also supports clients with recruitment of personal assistants, setting them up as an employer with our payroll service, and also supports and assist personal assistants to complete their DBS check applications online, verify identification documents and explain payroll information. Whenever possible, she takes part in voluntary work and fundraising events on behalf of WDP.
