About Ryan Maxwell:
He believes his previous experience working within the Covid-19 testing team for the Council and helping lead on the set-up of the warm hubs within local community centres makes the perfect fit to help launch and build a successful service. Ryan's own diagnosis of Ankylosing Spondylitis, as well as being a full-time carer for his grandad who had been diagnosed with vascular dementia, has given Ryan the lived experience and passion to support those living with disabilities and long-term health conditions. In a previous life, Ryan has spent time working as a lifeguard across Europe, managing pubs and bars, owning a catering business and working for his favourite sports team Warrington Wolves.
