About Julie Spurling:
Julie started as a WDP volunteer in 2016 and now works 3 days a week between the CIL showroom, Shop Mobility and MILS Golden Square. Her responsibilities range from setting up and closing down each day, organising the shop floor and providing exceptional customer service using her lived experience with a long-term health condition. At Shop Mobility, Julie deals with membership enquiries, booking scooter/wheelchair hire and ensures that any equipment used is cleaned and sanitised. Outside the job, Julie volunteers at our community events like Disability Awareness Day and Santa's Grotto, otherwise she spends time with her family and enjoys reading murder mysteries and romance.
