About Dave Thompson MBE DL MBA:
Dave has a joint role as Chief Executive of WDP and the Managing Director of our trading arm The Disability Trading Company. He leads the Senior Management Team and provides the link to both Boards of Trustees/Directors. He was one of the three founders of WDP, and was chairman for over 20 years before resigning in December 2014 to apply for today's role which he started in April 2015. Dave is the founder and Event Co-ordinator of Disability Awareness Day and he is an active supporter of WDP fundraising activities. Dave is a regular speaker at conferences across the UK, and he is a visiting lecturer at various Universities. He has presented disability equality training to over 50,000 people.
