Location: Callands
Personal Assistant is required to assist a young lady, full time wheelchair user with cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
HOURS AVAILABLE: 12-hour shifts. 8AM-8PM Weekdays and Weekends available.
12 hours shifts. Waking nights 8PM-8AM week/weekends available.
One waking night shift, hours to be arranged at interview stage — could be split.
12-hour weekdays and weekend, to be arranged at interview stage. These hours are not on a rota but could be split.
This role will involve working with another Personal Care Assistant.
Rate of pay £12.60 per hour
ABOUT: This young lady lives in her family home with her family, she enjoys being around people and socialising. Dining out, watching her favourite comedies and has a great sense of humour and understanding.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
Fully comprehensive care,
personal care,
assistance with feeding, assistance with social activities and general daily life,
household duties.
Full details will be discussed at the interview.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Female (due to personal care),
Driving licence and over 25 for insurance on mobility vehicle,
experience in care work, lifting and handling, PEG feeding,
feeding and swallowing experience,
experience with administering medication,
experience in dealing with seizures
Ideal candidates will have: Common sense and a good sense of humour with a bubbly outgoing personality.
