The Monopoly: Warrington Edition Game Big Reveal

Warrington Disability Partnership are on the board! Warrington has landed the honour of its very own edition of the world's most famous board game, Monopoly: Warrington Edition from Winning Moves UK and Hasbro, a global branded entertainment company.

The town today (25th October 2022) becomes the very FIRST place in Cheshire to get its own board after seeing off 19 other locations across the county.
Warrington landmarks and organisations represent ALL the famous multi-coloured Monopoly property squares like Mayfair and Park Lane from the classic Monopoly London original and we get to feature too!
The brand new MONOPOLY: Warrington Edition game landmarks and features include:
• We appear on the Chance space 2nd after Free Parking.

• Next door to ‘Old Kent Road’ (the board’s most affordable square) on a Community Chest space is Warrington Foodbank, one of several charities to be included and honoured within the game. At the other end of the board, The Golden Gates is unveiled as the ‘Mayfair of Warrington.

• Fiddlers Ferry Power Station represents the famous ‘Electric Company’ square. It forms one-half of a Utility Set, with Lymm Dam featured on the Water Works square.

• Other Warrington landmarks featuring include: The Transporter Bridge, Warrington Wolves, Walton Hall and Gardens, the Warrington Museum & Art Gallery, Victoria Park and The Pink Eye (on a pink square — of course!).

“Our team at Warrington Disability Partnership are delighted to have been chosen as one of only 4 local charities to feature on the Warrington Monopoly board,” said Dave Thompson chief executive and one of the founders of the charity. “It was befitting that the launch event was held at Walton Hall and Gardens, a place where we feel at home, after holding 31 annual Disability Awareness Days, Santa’s Grotto and Santa Dash events there as well.”
