Trusted Assessor training at Warrington Disability Partnership

We will be hosting two two-day Trusted Assessor training courses on June 4th/5th and June 11th/12th at our Centre for Independent living in Warrington. The courses are called Trusted Assessor: Assessing for Minor Adaptations (level three) and Trusted Assessor: Assessing and Adapting the Home (level four), both national qualifications.

We are delighted to be working as the new regional hub for these courses, learners will be using our training facilities and getting hands-on with a range of independent living equipment in our showroom.

The training will be delivered by TACT (Trusted Assessing and Care Training) a leading provider, accredited by OCN London and it includes both theoretical and hands-on practical training elements along with follow-up assignments for the learners. TACT’s trainers are all OTs (Occupational Therapists) with expertise in home adaptations and the course is designed to accredit a range of roles as Trusted Assessors able to handle simple assessments and know when to refer to an OT (Occupational Therapist) for more complex cases.

Organisations with qualified Trusted Assessors find that they can speed-up access to much-needed equipment and reduce waiting times.

To find out more about the courses or to book a place you need to contact TACT either by email on info@trustedassessing.com or enquire via their website https://trustedassessing.com/ where you can find details about the courses and other useful information.
